Box e and box f sort of run into each other - your address actually wouldn't fit into box e even if it was started there, but would run into box f (just below it).
The critical things on your W-2 are the employer's EIN (box b), your SS number (box a), and the numbers and codes in boxes 1 through 20.
Normally you should enter what's on the W-2 exactly as it is shown on the form, but in this case, if you find that your address really is in box e (50-50 it's actually in box f), then tell TurboTax your address as if it were in box f.
My W2 has no boxes d or f but does have box c (Employer's Address) and box e (with Employee's Address. This answer is not always correct for all W2's! Perhaps 2016 W2's can be generated which have no box d or f and instead have boxes c and e so the Employers and Employees Addresses fit correctly. My W2 is from a MAJOR NYSE listed large cap USA insurance company.
The official W-2 looks like this - www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/fw2.pdf . I can't speak to major NYSE companies that choose for whatever reason not to use the IRS-approved form.
