Does TurboTax software support claiming the ev credit based on a binding contract entered into before 8/16/2022 and take possession after 12/31/2022?

I understand applicable law and guidance (I think).  I'm asking whether the TurboTax software Q&A supports claiming this credit or whether the credit must be entered manually on the form.  My experience attempting via software Q&A is that TurboTax does not support claiming this credit.  (Maybe not enough of us?).  Before I attempt to enter manually, I wanted to double-check if there is a work-around to get the software Q&A to accept this credit.

My own facts are that I entered into a binding contract on August 12, 2022 and took delivery/possession on June 5, 2023.  However, if I enter my delivery/possession date of 6/5/2023, TurboTax says I am not entitled to the credit for FY2022 for a date that occurred in 2023.

probably not! from the learn more link for the credit.

Eligibility requirements

- You must place the vehicle in service during the current year. Only specified vehicle types and years (for example: 2020, 2021, 2022, etc.) qualify.

also, there is no question about date of binding contract. apparently, the program has not been updated for the new law.

a check of tax form availability says it's ready for e-file which apparently it is not.

I could not find any work around.

an override voids the accuracy guarantee.
