Does TurboTax allow me to enter the Rebate Recovery Credit amount? My daughter received the 3rd stimulus in 2021 as she was not my dependent. But 2021 she is a dependent

I did not qualify for it given my filing status in tax year 2020, but I do in tax year 2021. There is no place for me to add that my dependent already received the 3rd stimulus payment. Turbo Tax says my rebate should be $2800.

If your daughter was eligible to get the 3rd stimulus payment based on her 2020 tax return and she received it, she does not have to pay it back.   If you can now claim her as a dependent on your own 2021 tax return then you do not put anything about the fact that she received it.   YOU are eligible to get that stimulus if you are claiming her on a 2021 tax return.

Sorry for my clumsy post, and thank you for your response.

As you added the disclaimer, is there any IRS documentation that references this scenario to? It seems like the IRS would jump on this as potential fraud, and it's not my intent.
