No, TurboTax cannot access your informtion unless you request to import it from Vanguard.

To import your 1099 from Vanguard, navigate to the section for the type of 1099:

·         Please click on Federal, on the left menu

·         Then select, Wages and Income, along the top

·         You may see a prompt for your 1099-B but if not, click on

·         See list of all income

·         Scroll down to Investment Income, by the bar graph icon

·         Click on Show More

·         Click Start for Stocks, Mutual Funds, Bonds, Other

It will give instructions from there to either import or manually enter your investment information.  Choose your bank or brokerage, then sign into your account to begin the import. Repeat steps if your brokerage firm has more than one type of 1099
