The TurboTax Deluxe
online
edition does not support investments reported on a Form 1099-B. The Premier online edition must be used - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/online/
The TurboTax Deluxe
desktop
CD/Download edition which has to be installed on a personal computer does support entry of an investment sale reported on a Form 1099-B. As do all of the desktop editions. All of the desktop editions include the same forms, schedules and worksheets - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/cd-download/Thank you for your reply.
I only use the desktop CD-edition of the TurboTax. Last year, TurboTax Delux didn't allow me to enter the 1099-B form. And I had to buy the Premium edition. Perhaps they have changed this but I want to be sure if this year, 2020, I need to buy Premium or Delux.

The 2019 TurboTax Deluxe desktop edition did support investment sales from a 1099-B. The procedure to enter the 1099-B in the 2019 software is exactly the same as for the 2020 software.
To enter an investment sale from a brokerage account (1099-B), follow the steps below.
Or enter investment sales in the Search box located in the upper right of the program screen. Click on Jump to investment sales
Thank you for your answer. I will save the steps you listed and follow them when doing the 2020 tax.
