Does turbo tax save each time you walk away or if I wanted to continue tomorrow? If so is there a save tab to save where ive left off

Turbo Tax will automatically save as you enter your data. There is no "save button". Next time you log in it will pick up where yo left off.

Turbo Tax 2019 Deluxe.   It did not save my work.  I worked three and a half hours yesterday.  I did not close the app and 18 hours later it had closed itself.  When I reopened it told me to BEGIN and I can not find any way to get back my old 3.5 hours work from yesterday.

Make sure you are logging in using the same credentials.  

 

Attached is a link to help you determine if any other user names are linked to your account.  It's possible you may just have another login.

[1] Thanks for replying though is too late to be useful (question asked about 40 hours ago). 

[2]  Maybe the problem was caused by Windows 10 doing an update while TurboTax was open ?

[3] We now save every time we leave the machine. We do not trust autosave

I'm in turbo tax but my previous entries are not there. that's twice I've lost my entries??????????????

You are commenting in an old thread that may have outdated information.  We will need to gather some details to be able to assist you further. 

 

Did you file last year and those entries are not showing up? 

Did you clear and start over and they still aren't showing up? 

Are you getting an error message? 

What version of TurboTax are you using? 

 

Please comment here and someone will reach out with the next steps.
