Does the desktop version require all state tax packages to be downloaded or can I skip downloading a state I already filed separately?

I started my taxes using TT online, but may switch to the desktop version and download it. I would submit a federal and states in MA, CT, and NY. However, since I already submitted a CT return separately, I would not need to download and pay for the CT state package though. Is that okay or will it present any issues if I go ahead and switch to the desktop version to do my federal and download only the MA and NY packages? Thanks!

Yes.  You can download only the States that you want to file through TurboTax.

The only thing you will need to be careful of is,  make sure that any applicable credits for taxes paid to other states are calculated correctly on all of the state returns, as TurboTax will calculate these automatically for you, as you go through the onscreen questions for each state.
