Does my tax return take into account the fact that I only worked half a year, but was taxed a full year's salary?
Do I have to specify somewhere that I only worked half a year?

No, you don't have to specify that you only worked half a year. Income tax laws are mainly based on the total amount of income that you earned not the number of months you worked.
