Does my reporting of my Alimony payments on my Federal Return automatically transfer to my New York State Return?

There was an additional Alimony paid question on my New York State Return but I don't want to include this deduction twice, if already considered from my Federal Adjusted Gross Income.

Yes, TurboTax transfers data from your federal return to your state return. If New York is asking for additional questions regarding your alimony, go through and answer them.

Can I deduct alimony I paid to my ex-spouse?
