I'm trying to understand why Form 3805P, TP is unavailable in TT. 3 other nationwide tax services have 2022 out, as does the Ca FTB. Can I just download a copy and attach it to my state tax return?
I don't know, maybe i am just really frustrated with TT this year. Had to deal with the CA MCTR snafu that caused multiple rejected returns, not to mention the egregious charges for services I don't need and won't use. Is it possible to use another service to file my Ca tax return after i've already submitted my Federal?
Form 3805P, Additional Taxes on Qualified Plans (Including IRAs) and Other Tax-Favored Accounts, is expected to be available on or about Feb. 9.
TurboTax does not release forms until they are ready and approved by the Franchise Tax Board.

File your state tax for free using CalFile on the FTB's website even if you filed your federal return with TurboTax.
Thanks for the reply. Am seriously considering using CalFile, but I already paid TT for the state return. Will I get the payment for the state refunded?
Generally TurboTax does not issue refunds for the only product.
TurboTax Online can be used at no cost up until the point that you submit payment. Once payment has been received, the product is considered to have been used to prepare your taxes, regardless of whether you print or electronically file your return, or if it's rejected.
Submitting payment reflects your satisfaction with TurboTax Online preparation of your taxes, and is non-refundable. After reading this, if you still believe you qualify for a refund, you can use this form or contact support.
