Did you move into or out of the state of VA during the tax year? Form 760PY is for Virginia Part-Year Resident Income Tax Return.
Make sure you are filing the correct form for VA return.
You need to make sure you've set up your personal information correctly. Revisit the Personal Info section:
- Sign in to Turbo Tax and select Personal Info.
- A Personal info summary screen will pop up.
- Question number 2 asks you the state(s) you lived in during 2022. Select your state of residence from a dropdown menu.
- You'll also be asked if you lived in another state in 2022.
