Does anyone know turnaround time for the second stimulus? My last one went through Turbotax, but I no longer have that bank account.

Just wondering, since my bank account is closed and Turbo tax sends it through a third party, is the turnaround time for that going to be extremely delayed? Since my bank account is closed and I have no way to update it.

if it was set up for direct deposit and bounced back the IRS will mail it out. 

 

and if it is not created by January 15, it will be a reconciling item on your 2020 tax return.  In otherwords, you will get a credit on the tax return

 

DO NOT FILE YOUR TAX RETURN UNTIL YOU ARE SURE WHERE THE SECOND STIMULUS PAYMENT IS.  It will save you months of headaches!

Wonderful thank you! I was planning on waiting this year anyway, as I filed too early last year and had to wait forever
