Does anyone know if I redeem my dollar amount rewards through my health insurance, will I receive any tax obligations? Can anyone send helpful links. Thank you

Do you mean rewards such as getting a gift card if you got a flu shot, etc.?  No, that does not go on your tax return.

Wellness incentives are taxed like all other “rewards” and there is no exemption under current tax law that excludes from income the incentives paid through wellness programs.

 

This IRS memorandum  does offer additional insights into the treatment of wellness program benefits.

@DaveF1006 Interesting.....since the OP did not give us any details about the "reward"-----do you believe this same thing applies to those "rewards" that some health insurance providers give out to their members--such as gift cards for getting an annual check up, flu shot, etc.?   And how should we be advising users to enter such rewards if they are taxable?  I do not want to provide incorrect information.
