Does active duty still apply if the w2 its asking for a w2 that was prior to my service but still in the same year?

Joined the navy 12-10-24 but the w2 that it is asking for active duty military is from within the same year but prior to my active duty status, do I still select this box for active duty?

Sorry, if you do not have a 2024 military W-2 you cannot receive the military discount. Next year, 2025, you will receive a military W-2 and will be able to get the TurboTax active military discount.
