No you would not enter that in the same area.

These are the steps to enter the 1099-R:

  • Go to Federal Taxes tab ( Personal Tab when using Home and Business)
  • Click on Wages and Income
  • Click on Explore on My Own or I'll choose what I work on
  • Scroll down to Retirement Plans and Social Security
  • On 401(k), IRA, Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R), click on the start or update button

Enter 1099-INT:

  • Click the Federal Taxes tab.
  • Click Wages & Income.
  • Click "I'll choose what I work on."
  • Scroll down to the "Interest and Dividends" section.
  • Click the Start or Update button for "Interest on 1099-INT."
