Do you have to file paper return if your spouse died last year? My return keeps getting rejected. Is it because I didn’t enter his drivers license info? So frustrating!!!

No.  You should not have to paper file.  The driver's license is only needed for the state return, so it should not be preventing you from e-filing.  Check your email or tax return when you sign in as you should see a rejection code or some explanation as to why the return is being rejected.  It could be many different things but find out the reason before trying to resubmit.  I am sorry for your loss.
