Do you file a 1099-div if your div is under $1.00?

If your dividend earned is less than one dollar then it's not necessary to add the amount to your tax return. However if you have other dividends combined with this one you should include this in the total to see if your dividend income is $1 more rather than without it.  The general rule is that anything at $.50 and below does not round to the next dollar and anything $.51 and above does round to the next dollar.
