Do the 2023 TurboTax filing record/upload to intuit network of my file?

Hi TurboTax development or management.

 

I bought the Deluxe version and just transfer my last year. In the software there are boxes (don't remember exact but to choose) "continue" or "save online". My questions:

1/ Do the Software automatically unload my record without chosen "... online"?

2/ If it is, How do I exclude this function? I want all my record is locally to my computer, no leaving any trail on the internet includinh intuit network.

Returns prepared using the CD/download are stored locally on your own hard drive.  They are not stored online with TurboTax.  You should always back up your files to a back up device like a flash drive or external hard drive in case of a computer crash.
