Do not have 1099-G - but have "Box 1" and "Box 4" amounts

Good Afternoon -

I do not have my 1099-G form.  My unemployment benefit for 2020 was less than 10,200 and our AGI was less than 150,000.

Do I still need to record it in TurboTax as income?  I do not have the Payer info or the Tax ID - just the amounts from "Box 1" and "Box 4"

Thank you!

Yes you still need to enter it.   So you get credit for the withholding in box 4.

Enter a 1099G for unemployment under

Federal on left

Wages & Income at top

Unemployment - Click the Start or Update Button

Your unemployment compensation will be on Schedule 1 line 7. The exclusion will be on Schedule 1 Line 8 as a negative number. The result flows to Form 1040 Line 8. You get credit for the withholding on 1040 line 25b.

Thank you!  There is nothing in Box 4.  No withholding.  As mentioned I do not have the actual 1099-G - I can only see what was in Box 1 and Box 4 on the State unemployement website.  Turbo Tax is prompting me for information such as Payer Name  - address and Federal ID No ... all of which I do not have.  If I go to my state's unemployment portal and sign in I can request a copy of my 1099-G emailed to me but I still do not have it after a few hours.  As mentioned I can only see the amounts in Box 1 and Box 4.

Thank you again!!!
