DO NOT FILE YET - Issue with deductions calculation re: mortgage interest

Spent 2hrs on the phone with a tax expert today (Harold) re: I'd increased annual withholdings & still owed significant federal tax.  Discovered the mortgage interest paid wasn't being calculated into totals (manually entered, not imported)  Didn't matter if you itemized or took STD deduction. It's not adding this interest in or calculating it correctly.

it was suggested I not file until tech support could review the program

UPDATE - tech department closed my case (stated there's nothing wrong). Despite manually entering information in the correct areas (tax expert verified), the data fails to transfer correctly to 'forms' or in the section summaries when selecting 'itemized deductions' over the standard one

Specifically, itemized deductions not properly calculated. Mortgage interest paid not added into totals, even if manually entered. Does not trigger itemized vs STD deduction option either at end of section
