do I still need to pay CA state tax after moving my LLC to another state

Hi,

After moving my LLC from CA to TX, and I also living in TX, do I still need to pay CA state tax?

Thanks!

@WJanson You have posted several times -- in several different threads---about the same issue.  When you keep starting new threads, it becomes very confusing and hard for those of us who would try to help you to understand the whole picture.

In general, you pay tax to the state you live and work in.  It sounds like you live and work in Texas.  Texas has no state income tax, so there is no TX income tax return to worry about.   If you lived and/or worked in CA for any part of the tax year, then you need to file at least a part-year return for CA.   Since your information is spread over several threads, it is hard for us to know where you lived and where you worked or when you actually moved to TX. or began working in TX.   And....we have no idea what CA has to do with any of this, since you do not explain that.  You say you lived "abroad" for part of 2022, and then lived in TX for part of 2022, and in TX for 2023--so far.  How did CA get mixed up in this?

"your information is spread over several threads, it is hard for us to know where you lived and where you worked or when you actually moved to TX. or began working in TX"---I posted 2, but the information in these 2 topics didn't conflict with each other..Just the other post gave more detailed information.

I was a CA resident before 2019, but living abroad most of the time from 2019 Jan-2022 July.

I came back to the State in 2022 July and moved to TX.
