Do i receive any compensation for referring someone to turbotax

There is a TurboTax "Referral" program, but you would need to use the proper method to receive a $25 gift card.  You'd need to share the email I'm linking below, your friend would need to use this email to access TurboTax AND file using a paid edition of TurboTax.  Here's the link that explains the program:

I filed my taxes with turbo tax couple of days ago. At the end I was given a referral link to share with my friends and I sent it out to a number of people. but when they click on the link it says "Whoops! you cannot refer yourself". I will be advising them to use some other tax preparation software instead of turbo tax.
