Do I need to request form 1099-MISC for an international company that I am freelancing for?

I am a freelancer based in the U.S. and my client is based in Australia. Since Australian taxes are different, my client has not issued form 1099-MISC to me. Should I request for this form, or will Schedule C or 1099-K be sufficient for filing my self-employment income? This is my first time filing self-employment income, so any assistance is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You don't need a Form 1099-MISC.  The Australian company is not required to send you one, and don't need one to file your tax returns.  You are required to claim the income on your tax return, even though you won't receive a Form 1099-MISC.  Just report it on Schedule C.
