Do I need to include my 2017 federal tax refund on my 2018 taxes? I’m single, no dependents. Easy peasy taxes, but TurboTax didn’t ask about 2017’s taxes?

A federal tax refund is not entered on or deductible on a federal tax return.

I meant on my state return (Iowa).

Yes, if a federal tax refund was received in 2018 it is reported on a 2018 Iowa tax return.

When I did my taxes in TurboTax, it didn’t ask me that question.
