Do I need to file taxes although I did not live or work in the U.S. last year? I am a U. S. Citizen, my spouse is not. I got married last year. I didn’t bring in income

As a US citizen you are required to report All of your worldwide income on a tax return.

If you did not have income of any kind, US or Foreign, there is no need for you to file a tax return.
