Do I need to file something for being on BadgerCare? I had my taxes done by a professional last year & they asked about insurance but didn’t need anything from me.

No - you only need to enter health insurance information if you had Obamacare and receive a 1095-A form.   You may need to answer some questions on your WI state return, but you do not need to report anything from Badger Care on the federal return.    WI Dept of Health
