Do I need to file a 1099 misc form for my nonprofit for private restaurant room dinners > $600

I have a 501c3 nonprofit medical society group.  We have quarterly continuing medical education dinners in restaurant private/banquet rooms.  The bill paid for by the society is greater than $600 dollars.  Do I need to file a 1099 misc form to the restaurants?

No. Generally, only payments to individuals require Form 1099-MISC. To confirm this, you might contact the restaurant owner to see if they expect a 1099 from you.
