Do I need to do anything after filing from Turbo tax to pay my tax due?

So I filed my tax return in February and scheduled to pay my tax due in early March, and my tax return had been accepted by IRS a month before, but the tax due hasn’t been charged until now, I’m very concerned about this and wondering if I need to pay my tax due somewhere else, Turbo tax auto reply is useless on this.

Usually, the IRS will withdraw the amount on the day you selected. If that date happens to fall on a weekend or federal holiday, the funds are typically withdrawn the next business day. But there seems to be some delay with the IRS withdrawing the funds.

Please check you filing instruction page to verify the account number and payment date:

  1. In TurboTax Online, sign into your account.
  2. Select Tax Home in the left menu.
  3. Scroll down to Your tax returns & documents.
  4. Select Add a State (you're not actually adding a state, this opens the return back up)
  5. Select Tax Tools on the left and then Print Center and choose the print center

Please be aware that this year you have until May 17th to pay your balance due. Also, there will be no penalties or interest if the IRS failed to make the debit on time as long as the request was done correctly on a timely filed return. Please see When will my tax payment go through? for additional information.

Also, you can view your balance and check your payment activity at IRS Paying Your Taxes.
