A Form 1095-A is Not from Medicaid.  If you do not have health care coverage from the ACA state Marketplace then when asked if you have a Form 1095-A answer NO.

No, you don't need Form 1095-A for Medicaid coverage. Form 1095-A is issued to individuals who enrolled in a qualified health plan through the Health Insurance Marketplace

  • Since you had Medicaid in 2024, you would typically receive Form 1095-B or 1095-C instead
  • If you need to verify your Medicaid coverage or application status, you can contact your state's Medicaid office or visit their website for assistance
