Do I need 1095-A form if I had market place insurance as a dependent on my parents' marketplace insurance? I started my employmemt and employer insurance in July 2024.

From July to Dec 2024 I had employer and marketplace insurance(dependent on my parents' insurance). I turned 26 in 2024. With market place insurance you can be dependent on your parents' market place insurance until Dec 31 of the year you turn 26.

If your parents claimed you as a dependent on their tax return, you won't enter health insurance on your return.  If they didn't claim you as a dependent,  you'll enter the shared Marketplace health insurance policy Form 1095-A that you had with your parents for the time that you had it.

You can review this TurboTax article I'm on my parents' 1095-A form. What do I do on my return? for more information. To enter Form 1095-A refer to the TurboTax Help article Where do I enter my 1095-A?
