Do I have to wait for my spouse to file my taxes?

My husband has a 1099 and I have a W-2. He has more things to add than me. Do I wait to do it together ?

If you are filing as Married Filing Jointly then all income, expenses and deduction for both of you are entered on Only one tax return.

Can I file married but separate? Is that a thing. This will be the first time filing as a married couple.

You really do not want to file as Married Filing Separately as that is usually the worst way to file when you are married.
See this TurboTax support FAG for filing jointly versus separately - <a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1894449-is-it-better-for-a-married-couple-to-file-jointly-or-separately">https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1894449-is-it-better-for-a-married-couple-to-file-jointly-or-separately</a>

I don't think I saw this in there, but who do I sign in under? We both have login information for TurboTax.

It is completely your decision whose account you use when you add a spouse, or if you decide to create a brand new account for both of you, but if you use an existing account then that person will become the first name listed on your tax returns. To avoid confusion with the IRS and state agencies, you should continue to use your names in this order.
