Do i have to enter my spouse's information if we are filling separately?

we are not filing together and i would prefer not to list my spouse on my return. do i have to enter the name and social security details?

In order to e-file, you will have to provide her name and social security number. To file separately without the spouse's social security number,  you need to submit by mail.  You cannot e-file.  Also you will need to include a statement with the return explaining why your spouse's personal information is missing.

(As you print the return, please ignore any name and SSN related error messages.)
