If you are choosing to both file Married Filing Joint, there will only be one return (with both of you on there) and both W-2's will need to be on the return. This is the opposite of choosing to file Married Filing Separately. When choosing to file Married Filing Separately, you and your husband will file one return each, and the W-2's will be filed with the respective return.
