Do I file single or married filing jointly We’ve been separated quite awhile. What do I claim. She claims kids?

We haven’t lived together in 6 years. How do I file ?

If you are still legally married and are not claiming a child as a dependent on your tax return then you either file as Married Filing Jointly or Married Filing Separately.  More than likely you would file as MFS.
