Did state portion go up $5? I was going to buy at $40 then notice today it is $45?

Did state portion go up $5? I was going to buy at $40 then notice today it is $45?

Can we buy the state as seperate addon from amazon or somewhere or do we need to buy directly from intuit?

Are you using desktop TurboTax?    Some desktop editions come with 1 state program included, and an additional state program can be purchased if needed.  The price of an additional state program increased from $40 to $45 on March 1 along with price increases for some other TurboTax products.   There is not a way to purchase an add-on state program other than through TurboTax.
