Did not receive a 1099-B for loss from worthless stock (company went bankrupt) how do I file?

You would enter an investment sale in TurboTax showing the sale proceeds as $0 and the cost equal to what you invested. You enter investment sales in the Wages and Income section of TurboTax, then Investments Sales, then Stocks, cryptocurrency, Mutual Funds, Bonds, etc... Skip the the section where it asks if you want to upload your tax documents. Choose Stock, Bonds Mutual Funds as the type of investment sold. Enter the sale as if you had received a Form 1099-B.
