Desktop Version issues with two properties refinanced in 2021 inaccurately hitting the mortgage limit

I refinance my primary and secondary home in 2021.  When entering the 1098s and answered all of the questions I keep getting an error claiming I need to wait for a form that was supposed to be release on Feb 17th.   "Deductible Home Mortgage Interest WKS".  I think it is triggering as the TT is see these as 4 active mortgages in 2021 that in total are more the the dedication limit.  However, I really only ever had two simultaneous mortgages in 2021 with balances in total below the deduction limit.  Do I have to wait for this form?  Seems like maybe I am doing something wrong or this is a software issue?

Thank you for sharing this information. Our team has been working to resolve an error message for the form availability of the Deductible Mortgage Interest Worksheet after the original date expected. We apologize for the delay and inconvenience this has caused. This should now be resolved. Please do try the return in Review and see if it will now pass without flags and allow you to file. Because you have the desktop version of TurboTax, please be sure it updates when you launch the program.

The message:

  • "Deductible Home Mortgage Interest Wks: This form has not been finalized for returns with two or more mortgages and limited mortgage interest. We expect this form to be available after February 17th."

Please do not report both homes on one Form 1098; they should each be reported on their own form.
