There are more than a dozen kinds of 1099's. What kind do you have? If you are trying to use the Free Edition, there are certain documents that are not supported by that version, so you will not be able to use it. Please explain what kind of 1099 you have.
@Djnyjeanty You cannot use the Free Edition if you have a 1099G for unemployment. That requires a paid version.
