I see that others have asked this question, but also have not gotten a solution. The advertised price is 29.99 for federal. The price under Tools>My Turbo Tax Fees is 39.99. Why am I not getting the discount? I do not have any add-ons.
Where do you see it for 29.99?

Type in Turbo Tax Deluxe. It is posted on the Turbo Tax site.
If I use the search engine to search for TurboTax Deluxe, I see some CD/download products available form some sites but they are are not directly from TurboTax. For example, Amazon has it for $29.99 but it does not include state.
Yes, click the link above and scroll down to where it lists all of the products and prices. The second one is Deluxe (most popular) and the original price is 39.99 with a line drawn through it. The sale price is right there as 29.99.
What I'm looking at is directly on the TurboTax Intuit website. <a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/online/">https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/online/</a>
So weird, I don't see that, I see what's shown below. I wonder if your computer is pulling an old version of the page up that saved in your temporary internet files.
Ummm, are you getting to Turbo Tax though a partner website like your bank or broker? How to get the partner discount

The website link you posted 3 above goes to the same place as mine and my screenshot and shows 39.99 when I click on it. You need to clear your cache, cookies and history. See what you get using a different browser.
Please post a screen shot of your google search list that has the link you clicked on.
Ok, so I went to Firefox and it's coming up as 39.99! What in the world!?!?
