day care vs preschool

Hi,

 

can I claim the preschool expenses for my child? does it have to be a day care only or also preschool does qualify?

Preschool and daycare both care for the child before they can start normal school age activities. Any expenses for school or daycare younger than school age count as daycare for the child care credit.
