Cost/Adjusted Basis

How do I modify the amount I entered in the Cost/Adjusted Basis field?  I am unable to bring back the page where this field is located.

Can you please clarify for which section in your return you need to make the adjustment? Is it a for an investment property, main home etc...?

After I have completed the federal and state taxes, Turbotax took me to the next tab, Review.  Here is where I was asked to Fix errors.  Then, a page displayed with a statement that I needed to enter the cost/adjusted basis for the Noncash contribution.  I wanted to change the amount I entered here.  I returned to to the Review tab but to no avail.  I was unable to bring back this page where I could enter a new amount.

To adjust your cost basis in a charitable contribution in TurboTax Online:

  1. If you’re on the Hi TurboTax Client, let's keep working on your taxes! screen, scroll down to Deductions & Credits, click the dropdown, then select Review/Edit.  Otherwise, select Click Federal in the left pane, and then select Deductions & Credits in the banner
  2. Scroll down and click Show more to the right of Charitable Donations
  3. Click Revisit to the right of Donations to Charity in 2021
  4. On the Review All Your Charities page, select Edit to the right of the relevant contribution
  5. As you proceed back through the interview, you’ll have the opportunity to adjust your basis
