Corrected 1099-DIV now with an amount in box 5: Section 199-A dividends -

On the corrected form just received, there is now an amount $90.40 in box 5 (which had been $0) that equals the amount in box 1 (Total ordinary dividends.)  Do I need to file an amended return?

You are not required to amend since you would owe no more in tax.

you would be entitled to a $ 18 (20%) deduction from taxable income. at best that could save you maybe $8 in taxes (if your marginal tax rate was 40%), it could even be zero.
