Colorado payment through TurboTax?

I authorized payment of my taxes when i filed federal and state using TurboTax. Both returns accepted. The Colorado payment has not been processed which I authorized on the Colorado filing. Does Colorado even use/accept the TurboTax information, or must one still use an alternate method using Co Dept. of revenue - if so why did TurboTax provide all the information on form I filled out with bank details? Please advise. Thank you.

Generally, the funds are withdrawn by the state on the payment date you specified if your return has been accepted and they have begun processing it. Sometimes it may take a couple more days on their end. And if that date happens to fall on a weekend or federal holiday, the funds are typically withdrawn the next business day.

They do use the information that you provide on your e-filed return. If you wish to cancel that payment and pay them directly now, you'll need to contact the state directly to do so.

Otherwise, keep an eye on your bank account – if you still don't see the debit 7-10 days after your return has been accepted and the state shows a status of them already processing your return on their site, contact your state tax agency for an update. All processing of returns, refunds and tax payments are handled by the state and/or IRS only, after they have accepted your return.
