College student: Attend more than one college, so at least half-time or less than half-time student?

I am a college student. I work full-time, and attend two colleges simultaneously. I normally take 1 class at each college, so less than half-time at each college. This is reflected in the 1098-Ts that I receive. For each college, it states that I do not attend at least half-time. But together, I am attending at least half-time. For example, full-timeis considered 12 units or more, and right now I am taking 7 units, 3 at one college, and 4 at another. So that is half-time.

But I cannot find where in TurboTax I enter this.

Also, how do I prove to the IRS that I am attending at least half-time?

The rule is that the student needs to be enrolled at least half time in the degree program. There is no stipulation that the enrollment has to be at one institution. Remember that the 1098-T is an informational form and is not filed with your return as you have received it. You can use the information from it that applies to your situation.
