Claiming international dependents

Am I able to claim my fiancée who lives in South America, who relies on me for support by sending her $2000 per month by western union?

If so, am I supposed to use her alien registration number that’s on the I-129F (Petition for Alien Fiancée) form as her tax ID number?

We’re in the final stage of making an appointment for the K-1 Visa interview. Hopefully, we will be getting married sometime around the summer of this year.

To claim someone on your tax return as a dependent who is not a relative the person must be a U.S. citizen or a U.S., Canada, or Mexico resident for some part of the year.

No.    You cannot claim someone who is unrelated to you unless they lived with you for the entire tax year, so your BF/GF is automatically disqualified without anything else being factored into the reply.

No, you cannot claim her or her son as a dependent since they are not a qualifying child and are not living with you.
