Claiming a dependent

I claim my girlfriend every year on my taxes as a dependent. I’m the sole provider. But in 2019 she got a job toward the end of the year making minimum wage. Can I still claim her and her still file her own w2?

If her gross income for 2019 was $4,200 or more then no can claim her as a dependent if she is age 19 or older and not a full time student under the age of 24.

Yes you can if she made less than $4200.   And she would file her own return and indicate she could be claimed as a dependent.

Yeah she did not make 4200. So I can claim her on mine. And she can also file her own just for herself correct? I just don’t want to do something and get in trouble
