Claim for Human Resources Deduction in IN denied due to lack of evidence. Nothing indicated in instructions identify this requirement or what to submit. Any ideas?

What proof is acceptable for Human Resource deduction?

According to Indiana Code Title 6. Taxation § 6-3-2-28, any taxpayer claiming this deduction must submit the documentation that is deemed necessary to calculate the amount of the deduction. There is no further detailed requirements in the tax code or in the instructions to the tax return. Due to this uncertainty, it may be best to reach out to the state directly for additional guidance. Their contact number is 317-232-2240.
