Change of Address form 8822-B

My TurboTax Business Account is not allowing me to electronically file my Supchapter S Corporate Tax Return due to the IRS failure to provide TurboTax with the Change of Address Form 8822-B documents.  They gave notice that they would be available in about a week around Feb. 28, 2020, which was about a week after I completed my corporate taxes.  However, I have received no notice as they said they would do and would like to know the status or whether I should just download and print my taxes and submit a form 8822-B change of address?  I'd like to get things wrapped up for 2019 so I won't forget and can focus exclusively on 2020.

Yes, you are not supposed to attach the form to your return.

Yes, you are not supposed to attach the form to your return.

I'm aware that the change of address is not supposed to be attached to the return, however, it was the porcess of using the TurboTax electronic filing service that I was referring.  When I completed the return it kept refusing to file until they themselves had received the 8822-B forms from the IRS.  So, since the IRS had not provided them by 02/28/2020 I felt what would be the problem in just printing the completed return and manually filing it.  I already had an 8822-B filled out and in an envelope sitting up on another desk in my office but did not bother to send it out during the time of completing the return because the TurboTax service asked that question, and had me fill in the new address, etc. online.    I'm just of the mind to download the complete return and forget about electronic filing and simply send the return manually by dropping it off at the US post office and send the 8822-B envelope separately as well.

Yes, in this case the program will not allow you to e-file your return.  You will need to print and mail your return to the IRS.  And you can mail the 8822-B form separately.

Why is this the case when Turbo Tax has a link to get an email update when the form is ready.  Why then are you not able to file electronically?

Unfortunately Form 8822-B is not supported for e-file. Please refer to the link below for more information.

@brotherapon This is an updated response for you:

Since it's not necessary to submit the form along with your tax return, you can delete the form and then try to e-file.  You can then mail the 8822-B form separately.

Refer to the following TurboTax FAQ for instructions on deleting a form in the Windows or Mac software:  How do I delete a tax form in the TurboTax CD/Download ...

I received an email from Turbo Tax on Feb 29th, saying that the updated version of tax form 8822-B was available.  It is now March 9th and Turbo Tax is still not letting me file, as it says form 8822-B is not current.  I have updated Turbo Tax several times but still no change.  What do you recommend?

It is unsupported for e-file but is available to mail in. Here's the form availability table for your reference.
