Cannot enter negative numbers in Other Income->Gains/Losses (short-term) field on the tax estimator page. Tried to use minus sign as suggested, but does not work.

Thank you very much.  That calculator does allow negative numbers and unlike the TurboTax calculator, it has been updated for 2024.  Amazing that a calculator from a website called dinkytown is so much better than the Turbo Tax version.
