Can you still file a tax return if you had no income and no job?

I did not work and had zero income last year.  Should I file some sort of "blank" tax return?  Or should I just not file at all?

You do not need to file a tax return with no income. There is nothing for you to gain by doing so.

If you received no income of any kind in 2023 then there is no need to file a tax return.

Unless you also received a Form 1095-A for your health insurance through one of the State Marketplace Exchanges or from healthcare.gov then you must file a tax return.
